Governance

VYK has a well constituted General Body consisting of 16 members from different background who annually sits and take major policy decisions. The Executive Committee consisting of 7 eminent personnel of the locality meet quarterly and take all decisions for better management of the organization and its projects/programs. The Member Secretary carries out the decisions of the Executive Committee. The Advisory Committee of VYK advises and gives feedback to the Executive Committee and the Member Secretary from time to time. They also sit in the annual general body meeting and share their views.

Different Sub-Committees are also constituted by the members and outside intellectuals to review membership of the organization, monitor programs, infrastructure development and purchases etc. The organisation and its programs are guided by the Constitution of the Organization and The Marg Darshika (Human Resource Management Policy, Finance Policy, Gender Policy, Child Protection Policy and Policy Against Sexual Harassment in Work Place).
